Further development plans for Sponsored Streams introduced.

The first of "further development" plans for Sponsored Streams have been introduced by the Rysin Online sponsored stream administrators.

The expansion plans involve allowing radios to have their own personal space viewable from both the actual Statistics application and the Rysin Online site. Statistics Version 4 will offer an excellent platform for Sponsored Streams to be further developed. The second Sponsored Streams system will become available as soon as Statistics v4 has been released. At this time it's impossible to tell if current sponsored streams will have to re-register. A promise made to users for Statistics Version 3 was "we recommend signing up because the order of listed streams will not change", so in the case of users having to re-register there will be a way of claiming back your place in the list.

Emma's Question: Inside the "space" for each radio, will we get to control what the content is? i.e. will the spaces be remote on our web servers or will they be contained within the Rysin Online servers?
Answer: The spaces will be remote, and radio companies / hosts will have full control over the content. Obviously there will be some protocol as to the content you can and cannot share, but these rules will be quite self explanatory.
